Welcome to the second edition of Booking.com’s annual magazine, Check-in.
We explore ideas at the intersection of society, technology and travel. Our ambition is to facilitate an exchange of ideas about the future of travel and how it can impact wider society positively.
Our theme this time is Travel Reimagined, which encompasses a broad range of topics. We explore some of the macro trends impacting the tourism industry, such as changing consumer behavior, digitalization and the growing role of international travel. Additionally, we will delve deeper into the role of AI, from chatbots and virtual assistants to personalized recommendations and predictive analytics. Finally, we will examine issues related to sustainability. Our aim is to provide a comprehensive look at the ways in which travel ecosystem is evolving and to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
